Michael R. Adams, OD, graduated from John Carroll University, Bachelors of Science, summa cum laude, in 1995. He completed his Masters in Biochemistry from The Ohio State University in 1997. In 2003 he received his Doctorate from the New England College of Optometry.
Dr. Adams has advanced training in corneal pathology, specialty contact lenses, ocular disease and laser refractive surgery. His clinical experience includes TLC Laser, VA Boston Healthcare System, Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, and Boston Foundation for Sight. He has held positions at Boston Laser, The Laser Vision Institute, and Gushard Ophthalmology, as well as owning a private practice with Lenscrafters.
Dr. Adam has proudly served his country as an Air Force Captain in the Massachusetts National Guard at Otis AF Base, Cape Cod. He was honorably discharged in 2014.
Dr. Adam specializes in medical optometry, treating ocular infections, managing post-surgical care of cataracts, LASIK and retinal disease.
